FOR 11-12 SEASON $$$ BINGOS & VOLUNTEER HOURS You must opt out by end of day on June 29th to receive a tax receipt. After this date, you will be invoiced and tax receipts will no longer be available. If you wish to book bingos or volunteer hours to cover commitments still owing, please do so before the end of day on June 29th. Contact volunteer@youthsingers.org to book. WARDROBE & MUSIC RETURN All wardrobe should be washed before being returned. Black t-shirts – hang to dry – please do not put in dryer. White pants – please do not bleach. Sparkly jackets – please do not wash. All YSC wardrobe and music must be returned by noon on June 29 or caution cheques will be cashed. Remember that if you work extra bingos, our new fundraising credits policy takes effect in July – in addition to getting a $30 credit for each extra bingo, you will also get a $50 credit bonus for each group of five extra bingos worked! GLEEK OUT (ages 8-14) COMING SOON
Get ready to “Gleek Out!” this summer with the YSC. Our week long “Gleek Out!” Show Choir camps offer kids ages 8-14 the chance to sing and dance like the stars of the hit TV show and experience something totally different and totally exciting. Participants will learn a three song set, record a demo CD and perform in costume at the end of the week Showcase. Dates are as follows: July 23-27: ages 10-12 Aug 13-17: ages 8-10 Aug 20-24: ages 12-14 There are a few openings left at every level. SHINE AT THE STAMPEDE

The Costa Rican’s have a saying – “Pura Vida”. It literally means “pure life”, but the saying goes beyond its simple translation – it symbolizes the idea of simply enjoying life and being happy. They use the phrase as their way of saying “hello”, “goodbye” and even “awesome”. Come along on the Youth Singers of Calgary’s tour to Costa Rica, and experience your own “Pura Vida”.
