We’re kicking off our 40th anniversary year in spectacular fashion with the launch of Spotlight YSC — a one-day community celebration held at Calgary’s iconic Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre on Sunday, October 26, 2025.

Youth Singers of Calgary is celebrating four decades of creativity, confidence, and community — and you’re invited!

Enjoy live performances from current ensembles and alumni, explore interactive exhibits, relive iconic moments from our history, and connect with the people who’ve helped shape our story.

Whether you’re a longtime member, proud parent, curious community member, or just love music — this event is for YOU.

Admission is completely free, so bring your friends, family, and neighbours for a full day of inspiration and fun!

 

About the National Music Centre

We’re thrilled to host our Spotlight YSC launch at the National Music Centre (NMC) — the Home for Music in Canada.

Located in the heart of Calgary’s East Village, the NMC is one of the country’s most innovative cultural institutions. It’s home to an extraordinary collection of instruments, artifacts, and interactive exhibits that celebrate the past, present, and future of music in Canada.

While you’re here for Spotlight YSC , take time to explore the NMC’s stunning architecture and inspiring exhibits. It’s the perfect setting to honour 40 years of musical excellence and imagine the next 40 to come.
