(She/they) Cass is a choral composer, arranger, and conductor working toward her BMus in Composition at the University of Calgary.  She has been involved in the Calgary choral community for seven years now, performing and directing with several local ensembles, including Cum Vino Cantus, Mount Royal Kantorei, and Artio Choir.  In addition to joining the YSC team for the 2022/2023 season, this will be her inaugural year as the new permanent Artistic Director for Calgary Men’s Chorus.  An avid fan of interdisciplinary performance art, Cass challenges singers both young and old to establish deeper connections with their minds and bodies and expand their boundaries through other art forms.

Cass also has a passion for digital audio production and continues to develop her knowledge further through her partnership with local studio Morgan Music (John Morgan).
