(She/her) Deanna has been a staff member of Youth Singers of Calgary since 2002. Her first 4 years on staff were as the Assistant Director of KIDZXPRESS, moving in 2006 to Choral Director of KIDZXPRESS and, one year later, expanding her role to include Director of KIDAZZLE. Deanna brings a wealth of music and performance experience to the Youth Singer organization. Prior to her joining YSC, Deanna worked as a professional singer and actor with company credits including: The Citadel – Edmonton, The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, The Charlottetown Festival Young Company, and Stage West – Calgary. She holds a Bachelor of Education degree, a Bachelor of Music degree, and has worked for several years as an elementary school music teacher for the Calgary Board of Education. Deanna has also held positions on staff for Youth Singers as Resident Theatre Instructor, Stage Manager – TADA Summer Camp, performed as an ensemble member of ONCUE and is now a member of ENCORE.
