Catherine believes in the importance of community. She began volunteering with YSC when her two daughters were singers. Over the last 25+ years she has been involved in various volunteer roles, including Wardrobe Manager, Volunteer Production Manager and Board Chair. She is now experiencing the joy of singing as a member of the YSC Second Chants choir.

For over 40 years Catherine has been a public servant, working in the areas of advocacy, economic development, engagement, executive services, human resources, intergovernmental relations, policy development, program operations, and strategic planning. She especially enjoyed her 15+ years in leadership roles. She currently works on a casual basis with Canada Energy Regulator in Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation.
